Day 1: Arrival at Zvartnots airport. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation in reserved rooms.
Day 2: Yerevan - Etchmiatsin - Memorial - Museum of History - Yerevan
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Echmiadzin, the former capital of the Armenian Kingdom and Patriarchal Seat of the Catholicos, the Patriarch of all Armenians. Visit the Etchmiatsin Cathedral (303). Back to Yerevan. Visit the monument and the Genocide Memorial Museum on Tsitsernakaberd Hill (Swallows Fortress). Lunch at the restaurant. Visit of the History Museum. Night at the hotel.
Day 3: Yerevan - Saghmossavank - Aparan - Odzoune - Haghpat
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the region of Aragatsotn. Visit of Saghmossavank monastery (10-13th century). Road to the Spitak Pass (2300m). Going through the town of Aparan small stop at the local bakery. Odzoune. Lunch. Visit of the basilica of the 6th century in the village of Odzoune. Visit of Haghpat Monastery (10th-13th centuries). Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Haghpat.
Day 4: Haghpat - Akhtala - Goshavank - Sevan - Tsaghkadzor
Breakfast at the hotel. Fortified monastery of Akhtala rich in frescoes. Departure to Tavouch area. Visit of Goshavank Monastery (12-13th century). Lunch at the inhabitant. Departure to the region of Gégharqounique. Lake Sevan, one of the largest high mountain lakes in the world (1900 m above sea level). Lake Sevan, peninsula, monastery of Sevan (9-13th centuries). Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Tsaghkadzor.
Day 5: Tsaghkadzor - Noradouze - Selim - Carahunge - Goris
Breakfast at the hotel. Fields of the medieval khatchkars of Noradouze (9-17th centuries). Col de Selim and caravanserai of Selim (14th century). Region of Vayots Dzor. Lunch at the local restaurant. Departure to the Syunik region. Visit of the archeological and megalithic site of Carahunge (V mil. Av.J.-C.). Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Goris.
Day 6: Goris - Tatev - Khndzoresk - Goris
Breakfast at the hotel. Canyon of the Vorotan River. Tatev Monastery (9-13th centuries). To go to Tatev Monastery, take the longest cable car in the world, listed in the Guinesse book. Lunch at the inhabitant. Visit the cave city - Khndzoresk (I millet Av J.-C). Back to Goris. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.Day 7: Goris - Noravank - Khor Virap - YerevanBreakfast at the hotel. Region of Vayots Dzor. Visit the Noravank Monastery (13-14th centuries). Lunch at the local restaurant. Departure to the region of Ararat. Visit the monastery of Khor Virap (4-17th centuries). Here is the underground cell of St. Gregory the Illuminator, the first Armenian Catholicos. Back to Yerevan. Night at the hotel.
Day 8: Yerevan - Garni - Geghard - YerevanBreakfast at the hotel. Departure to the Kotayk region. Visit of the 1st century Greco-Roman temple of Garni. Visit the monastery of Geghard (4-13th centuries). This rock monastery is located in one of the most picturesque sites of Armenia. Lunch at the inhabitant. Back to Yerevan. Visit the Institute and museum of ancient manuscripts-Matenadaran. Night at the hotel.
Day 9: DepartureTransfer to the airport. Departure.
