Day 1: Arrival at Zvartnots airport. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation in reserved rooms.
Day 2: Yerevan - Etchmiatsin - Zvartnots - Yerevan
Breakfast at the hotel. City tour of Yerevan, whose history dates back to the 8th century BC and which nowadays offers a pleasant face, due to the harmonious blend of greenery and water: walk to the monument of the Cascade, exhibition park of modern art. Departure to Echmiadzin, the former capital of the Armenian Kingdom and Patriarchal Seat of the Catholicos, the Patriarch of all Armenians. Visits to the archaeological site of Zvartnots Cathedral (7th century) and Etchmiatsin Cathedral (303) - all 2 listed in the UNESCO Heritage List. Visit of the cultural center of "The Cross of the Armenian Union" (http://cau.am/) - craft workshops, making carpets, miniature, Armenian cuisine. Lunch at the cultural center of CUA. Back to Yerevan. Visit of the History Museum. Night at the hotel.
Day 3: Yerevan - Amberd - Byurakan - GyumriBreakfast at the hotel. Departure to the region of Aragatsotn. From the station of physicists, located on Mount Aragats (the highest mountain of Armenia - 4095m) hiking to the fortress of Amberd (8-14th centuries, 2300m above sea level). Lunch in Byurakan. Departure to the Chirak region. Arrival in Gyumri, the second largest city of Armenia. Walk in the old quarter of the city of Gyumri - architecture of the 19th century. Dinner at a trout and sturgeon fish farm restaurant. Night at the hotel.(2 hours of walking approximately)
Day 4: Gyumri - Ardvi - Odzoune - HaghpatBreakfast at the hotel. Departure to the region of Lori. Village Ardvi. Hike to the funerary chapel of the Catholicos Jean d'Odzoune (7th century), then continuation to the village of Odzoune. Lunch. Visit of the basilica of the 6th century in the village of Odzoune. Departure to the village of Haghpat. Visit of Haghpat Monastery (10th-13th centuries) - it is the largest monastic complex of Armenia, classified in the list of UNESCO heritage. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Haghpat.(2 hours of walking approximately)
Day 5: Haghpat - Debed - Gochavank - Sevan - TsaghkunqBreakfast at the hotel. Hiking to the village of Debed. Continuation by car to the region of Tavouche. Lunch at the restaurant.Visit of the monastic complex of Gochavank (10-13e centuries). Departure to the region of Gégharqounik. Lake Sevan, one of the largest high mountain lakes in the world (1900 m above sea level). Lake Sevan, peninsula, Sevan monastery (9-13th centuries): 230 steps to climb. Dinner and overnight at the guest house in Tsaghkunq.(2 hours of walking approximately)
Day 6: Tsaghkunq - Noradouze - Selim - Yéghéguis - Jermouk Breakfast at the hotel. Fields of the medieval khatchkars of Noradouze (9-17th centuries). Col de Selim and caravanserai of Selim (4-14th centuries). Region of Vayots Dzor. Visit the Zorats church (14th century) in the village of Yéghéguis (small walk in the village about 40 minutes). Lunch at the local restaurant. Walk in the spa town of Jermouk (about 1 hour). Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Jermouk. (2 hours of walking approximately)
Day 7: Jermuk - Khndzoresk - Tatev - Goris Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the cave city - Kndzoresk (I millet Av J.-C). Hike in the troglodyte site of Khndzoresk, overlooking the fairy chimneys and crossing the suspension bridge (length 125m, elevation 60m). City of Goris. Lunch at the restaurant. Installation at the hotel. Departure to the canyon of the Vorotan River. Tatev Monastery (9-13th centuries). Here we take the longest cable car in the world. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Goris. (1 hour walk approximately)
Day 8: Goris - Carahunge - Noravank - Yerevan Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the archaeological site of Carahunge (V mil.Av.). Departure to the region of Vayots Dzor. Lunch at the local restaurant. Visit the Noravank Monastery (13-14th centuries). Back to Yerevan. Night at the hotel.
Day 9: Yerevan - Garni - Geghard - Yerevan Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the Kotayk region. Visit of the pagan temple of the 1st century and the Roman baths of the 3rd century, located on the territory of the old fortress of Garni. Descent on foot in the canyon of the Azat River. Here one can admire the basaltic organs called "Symphony of the stone". Visit Geghard (4-13th centuries). This rock monastery is located in one of the most picturesque sites of Armenia. Lunch at the inhabitant. Back to Yerevan. Visit the Institute and museum of ancient manuscripts-Matenadaran. Night at the hotel. (1 hour 30 walk approximately)
Day 10: Departure Transfer to the airport. Departure.
